It is a comfortable and stable shoe, for long distances, that works well on practically any terrain, and that suits all types of runners who, in addition to that point of comfort, are looking for a certain dynamic and to be able to run at somewhat cheerful paces if their legs allow it.

SOLE

The sole features the Vibram Megagrip compound with Traction Lug and 5mm lugs, making it work well on the vast majority of terrain, regardless of how technical it is.

The orientation of the studs has been changed compared to the previous version, which improves grip, especially in broken areas or with some mud.

Of course, it is not a sole that performs 10 in those circumstances, but it is quite compliant. And of course, on compact or mixed terrain, it works great.

MIDSOLE

Here is the biggest change in this new version, and it is that the Speedgoat 7 incorporates a supercritical EVA foam midsole that takes the shoe to the next step.

It is still very comfortable and cushioned—without being a mattress—but now it is more reactive and dynamic, which provides that super powerful point between walking with your feet comfortable without the shoe becoming slow or heavy, something that in long distances can be very interesting depending on the pace you like to follow.

They have a drop of 5 mm (40 -35 mm).

UPPER

At the last level, something has also changed compared to the previous model. It is still a shoe with a standard last shape that is narrow, but in this seventh edition it has been accentuated a little more, making it a little narrower.

The upper material has reinforcements in the areas most exposed to scratches and knocks, while the instep is made of a breathable material and an elastic knit that comes in handy, especially if your feet swell as the hours go by.

It has very good padding in the heel and ankle area, as well as a good structure in the rear, which helps a lot to increase the stability of the shoe.

For its part, the tongue is very comfortable and with the necessary reinforcement so that once the laces are tied, they do not strangle our foot or cause any discomfort. In addition, they have an additional eyelet, in case you want to give your foot a little more adjustment.

Finally, comment that in this version they incorporate a hook for gaiters, in case it were the case that you want to use them.

These shoes are aimed at runners of any weight who want to run long distances—if it's short or medium, that's fine too, of course—and who are looking for a great balance between comfort, stability, good grip and a certain dynamism in the race.

They can perform perfectly on all types of terrain, with some nuances. Be careful in muddy or slippery areas, or on very technical terrain. But taking into account that they are designed for long distances, and that in those circumstances we are not going to go at the highest pace our legs can give, nor to run like brainless people on the descents, they will do well.

They may also not be the most recommended shoe for excessively aggressive terrain, since the sole can suffer a lot, not so much thinking about grip but durability.
